The Heart Behind Birch & Home

Hi, I'm Lydia, the owner and interior designer behind Birch & Home.

I believe beautiful spaces should be as functional as they are inviting—reflecting the personality, lifestyle, and vision of the people who use them.

My passion is bringing ideas to life through thoughtful design, carefully selected materials, and a balance of timeless style, creativity, and everyday functionality.

From full-home renovations and kitchen and bathroom transformations to furniture design, boutique commercial interiors, and creative installations, I take a personal, collaborative approach to every project.

Based in Redmond, Oregon, I'm proud to serve homeowners and small businesses throughout Bend and the surrounding Central Oregon communities.

My Approach to Design

I believe great design begins with listening. Every home is different, and understanding your lifestyle, personal style, and vision is at the heart of my approach.

I take a thoughtful, collaborative approach to each project, balancing beauty, functionality, and attention to detail. From space planning and material selections to furnishings and finishing touches, my goal is to create spaces that feel cohesive, comfortable, and uniquely yours.

Whether we're transforming a single room or reimagining an entire home, I want the process to feel approachable, organized, and enjoyable from beginning to end.

Thoughtful Design, Every Step of the Way

1. Listen

Understanding your vision, lifestyle, and priorities.

2. Design

Creating a cohesive plan through carefully considered details.

3. Transform

Bringing everything together into a space you'll love living in.
